Refugee Olympic Team
Logo design for the Refugee Olympic Team emblem at Paris 2024, where 37 athletes competed representing over 100 million displaced people worldwide — a way-marker motif forming a circle of negative space around a red heart.
The emblem was built from way-marker arrows — the universal symbol of movement, direction and journeying — which, when brought together, form a circular negative space enclosing a red heart. The imagery speaks simultaneously to displacement, solidarity and the human spirit of the @refugeeolympicteam and the Olympic Refuge Foundation.
At Paris 2024 the emblem was carried by 37 athletes representing more than 100 million displaced people globally. The logo’s restraint and universality gave it resonance across every culture and language represented at the world’s largest sporting event.
