Hi, I’m Brian Toomey, a designer with 20+ years of experience and a serious love for smart, impactful design. I currently work remotely, collaborating with brands near and far to bring ideas to life.

 

After graduating from Southampton Solent University with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design in 2005, I headed to New York to intern at Sagmeister Inc; an inspiring, idea-driven studio that helped shape how I think about creativity to this day. While there, my typography work was recognised by the Type Directors Club, earning a spot in the Annual Exhibition and their publication Typography 29. Not a bad start.

 

Since then, I’ve designed across print, brand identity, graphic systems and digital, working with ambitious startups, established brands, and everything in between, both locally and internationally.

 

My approach? Thoughtful, original design that doesn’t just look good, it works hard. I’m all about creating distinctive visual identities and smart solutions that add genuine value and help brands stand out for the right reasons.
